Local-First Storage
By default, DocsAI stores all scanned documents and extracted text locally on your device. Your documents never leave your phone unless you explicitly enable cloud sync.
What We Collect
We collect minimal anonymous usage analytics (e.g., crash reports, feature usage counts) to improve the app. We do not collect the content of your documents.
AI Processing
When you use the AI Q&A feature, the relevant document text is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a response. Google processes this data per their API terms; we do not store it on our servers.
Cloud Sync (Optional)
If you opt into cloud sync, your documents are encrypted and stored in your private iCloud container. Only you can access them.
Third-Party Services
We use Google ML Kit (on-device OCR) and the Gemini API (for AI features). No advertising networks or trackers are integrated into the app.
Your Rights
You can delete any document at any time directly within the app. Uninstalling DocsAI removes all locally stored data.
